The Master Seminar series is designed for those who lead or facilitate organizations such as communities of vowed religious women or men, religiously sponsored hospitals or educational ministries, local congregations and social service ministries.  The Seminar is open to participants from all faith traditions and assumes an existing base of skills and experience.  The seminar format emphasizes collegial exploration of advanced topics through discussion, reflection and case consultation. Topics include:

• The power of roles, boundaries and authority in system psychodynamics
• The complexities of decisions, conflict resolution and shared commitments
• The spirituality of facilitation and Negative Capability
• Structures and processes of containment for anxiety-producing work

Cost:  $950 (includes lodging and meals); $500 for Religious Leaders

The Jewish and Christian Scriptures hold countless stories of women whose prophetic words and actions brought healing and hope to their communities. As we continue our Lenten journey of conversion, we will ask these wise and faithful women to deepen our own response to the suffering of our day in the tender mercy of God.

During this afternoon of reflection and sharing, we will trace the blessing flowing through the generations from the hearts of women. We will reflect on the bond of enduring love woven in wisdom, grace and strength. Some women of Scriptures will guide us.

Therese of Lisieux’s insight into the utterly non-violent love of God so challenged the community of faith that she was named Doctor of the Church. Her wisdom continues to challenge us to come to terms with the violence in our hearts, and discover the “little way” that heals us. Like her, we will draw on the grace of God to make peace with ourselves, our neighbors, our environment and our God.
